id+l studio (formerly Kerry Ellis Design) is a full service interior and lighting design firm with expertise in residential, boutique commercial, and restaurant design. From concept to completion, id+l can provide everything from space planning, full scale design, project management, construction oversight, and of course, lighting. Our philosophy is that interior design should be a reflection of the people who inhabit the space. Our designs are tailored to your personal taste. Lighting Design

Consultations
If you prefer to do the sourcing yourself, but would like advice for either lighting or interior design (or both), we offer consultation packages starting from 2-hours.
A California native, Kerry had an affinity for Art and Architecture at an early age. Initially planning to become an architect, she fell in love with interior design and lighting in her 20s and never looked back.
After more than a decade working for a luxury Northern California design firm specializing in high-end residential, restaurant, and lighting design, Kerry ventured out on her own in 2016.
Though her home base is in Sacramento, California, Kerry is an avid traveler, and has had the opportunity to attend international lighting and design trade shows throughout Europe and North America, deepening her connection to, and knowledge of, the global market; she brings that experience and passion for design to each project.
